What is DGF Spray - In DGF, the carbon atoms are strongly bonded together in sheets. Because the bonds between the sheets are weak, graphite shows lower shearing strength under friction force. Thus it can be used as a solid lubricant and has become one of the traditional and primary solid lubrication materials.
The electrons in this dry graphite film spray are free to move through the structure, so graphite can conduct electricity. The layers in graphite can slide over each other because the forces between them are weak. This makes graphite slippery, so it is useful as a lubricant
This leaves a dry, tack-free film of graphite which will lubricate and reduce friction in parts so they slide or rotate easily.
